What is a pressure sensor?
The pressure sensor is the one of the most commonly used sensor in industrial practice. It is widely used in various self-controlindustrial environments,such as water conservancy and hydropower, railway transportation, intelligent building, production control, aerospace, military, petrochemical, oil well, electric power, ship, machine tool,pipeline and many other industries fields.
Generally,the output of ordinary pressure sensor is analog signal,the meaning of which is the information parameter is a continuous signal in a given range,or in a continuous time interval,the characteristics of its representative information can be presented to be any numberical signal in any moment.The pressure sensor we usually use is mainly manufactured using piezoelectric effect,and such pressure sensor also is known as piezoelectric pressure sensor.
Piezoelectric effect is the main working principle of piezoelectric pressure sensors.Piezoelectric pressure sensor can not be used for static measurement because the charge after external force just can be saved when the loop has an infinite input impedance.However,the actual situation is not this,so it determines that the piezoelectric pressure sensor can only measure the dynamic stress.
In addition to piezoelectric pressure sensor,there are piezoresistance pressure sensors made by piezoelectric effects,strain gauges using strain gauges, etc. These different pressure sensors utilize different effects and different materials to exert their effects in different situations Unique Uses.
