    Weighing sensor is divided into many types of models, but the most practical application is the resistance strain type weighing, strain gauge is the core unit of the load cell, the elastomer is the basic component of the load cell according to the type of structure are mainly S-type sensor , Column sensors, spoke and bridge sensors, shear beam sensors and single point sensors:


  •     S type sensor range is generally 2Kg to 10000Kg, this type of weighing Sensor anti-bias, anti-side ability is strong.

  •     Column sensor measurement range is very large, generally up to a few hundred tons, it is good rigidity, anti-overload ability, processing is simple, the weight is relatively light.

  •     The elastomeric shape of the bridge sensor is like a bridge, hence the name. Bridge sensor high precision, easy calibration, commonly used in auto scale and platform scales and other occasions.

  •  Because of the symmetry of the structure, the spoke sensor can withstand large lateral forces, and because of its large hysteresis error, many occasions are replaced by bridge sensors.

Weighing sensor in the selection process generally have to consider the following questions:


First, the installation requirements, some occasions directly fit a specific load cell.

Second, the use of environmental conditions, for sealing, explosion and so on.

Third, the accuracy of the sensor level. The accuracy level is usually determined by the elastomer structure, and whether there is a linear compensation in the process.

Fourth, the range of the sensor range. Estimate the maximum weight of the measured object in order to get more prepared measurement values are generally selected range is the maximum weight of the measured body 2 to 2.5 times.

Fifth, the use of the sensor temperature characteristics and creep characteristics.
